Patient portraits for Uniklinik Heidelberg

With Medtalk Education, the University Hospital of Heidelberg is carrying out a project to strengthen the communication skills of medical students and doctors. In this context, the project also aims to improve communication with patients suffering from incurable diseases.

In late 2015, we were commissioned to create portraits of patients who were to report on their lives with the disease and their experiences with the attending physicians. On the one hand the medical students and doctors should get a view for the patients and on the other hand also other patients affected by such diseases should get courage.

In the winter of 2015/2016 we produced three portraits, which can now be seen on the website and are also used in the work of Medtalk Education.
